1. Member Spotlight will launch after presenting to membership at the 3/27/2025 monthly meeting.
2. Our intention is to offer members an opportunity to gain Web visibility by having a presence on the PDIS home page for 1 month.
3. We have tried having "mini-sites" for members before but misjudged the labor and time involved for all parties :-(
4. A small bio, email address, and up to 6 images will be included and posted on the Home page.
5. The Member Spotlight will remain simple, but will inherit the considerable internet traffic of the PDIS home page. As of 3/27/2025, the PDIS newsletter had 183 subscribers.
6. A link to sign-up will be distributed by PDIS flyer.
7. The sign-up list will close on the second Friday of each month (beginning 4/11/2025) and a member will be chosen for the Spotlight.
   
   Example:
   On 2nd Friday, April/11 the Member selection process begins and
   the sign-up opens to pick a Member for the following month, 2nd Friday, May 9.
   On 2nd Friday, May 9 the selected Member begins their Spotlight month and,
   the sign-up begins for the following month, 2nd Friday, June 13.
   On 2nd Friday, June 13, the selected Member begins their Spotlight month and,
   the sign-up begins for the following month, 2nd Friday, July 11.
   
8. The sign-up and selection process will then repeat for each month, with a new sign-up period and Member selection.
9. Members for the Spotlight will be chosen at random from the sign-up list using the delicously nerdy Random Name Picker app.
